4 hour scallop trips and scallop and fishing combos from Ozello, from $400
Captain Teddy Shupe runs scalloping charters on a 24 ft Carolina Skiff tower boat for up to 6 people, launching from Crystal River, Homosassa or Ozello. He recommends Ozello for a shorter ride to the scallop grounds. A 4 hour scallop trip is $400 for 1 to 2 people, $450 for 3 to 4 and $550 for 5 to 6. A 6 hour scallop and fishing combo is $700, $850 or $1,000 by group size. Masks, snorkels, fins, licenses and coolers are provided, and larger groups can be split across more boats.
