Gulf Coast Scalloping is a guide to bay scalloping on Florida's Gulf Coast: season dates by zone, rules, towns, ramps, rentals, scallop cleaners and the charters that run scallop trips. We don't own or run any boats or charters.

We work to keep season dates, limits and rules current, but FWC sets them and can change them on short notice, including closing a zone early. FWC's rules are what count on the water. Check with FWC before you go.

Nothing on this site is legal advice. You're responsible for having any license you need, staying within limits, flying a divers-down flag and following all boating and fishing rules.

Scalloping means swimming and snorkeling in open water, often from a boat, in heat, sun, current and boat traffic. You take part at your own risk. Know your limits, watch the weather, wear sun protection, keep children supervised and stay close to your boat.

Scallops can carry natural toxins. Eat only the white muscle, and follow any health advisory or closure for the area you harvest in.

Charters listed here are independent businesses. Each charter is responsible for its own trips, prices, availability, safety, licenses and conduct. Some listings were added by us from the charter's own public information and have not been claimed yet; details may be out of date, so confirm them with the charter.

When you book through a charter's booking button, the booking is between you and the charter. Hookset's booking system handles the reservation and payment. Cancellation, weather and refund terms are set by each charter and shown before you book.

Fees, hours, parking and amenities at ramps, marinas, rentals and cleaners change often. Treat what you read here as a starting point and confirm with the place before you go.

Anything you send us, such as a message, listing details or documents to claim a listing, must be accurate and yours to share. By sending listing details, you let us show them on this site. We may edit or remove listing content at our discretion.

Use the site for lawful purposes only. Don't scrape it in bulk, send spam through its forms, or try to break or overload it.

The guides, maps and design on this site belong to us. Charter photos belong to the charters or their photographers. If you own something shown here and want it changed or removed, email support@hooksetapp.com and we'll take care of it.

The site is provided as is. We don't guarantee that every detail is complete, current or error free, or that the site will always be available.

To the extent the law allows, Gulf Coast Scalloping and Hookset are not liable for injuries, losses or damages that come from a trip, a charter, a place listed here, or your use of the site.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida.

We may update these terms. If we do, we'll post the new version here with a new effective date. Using the site after that means you accept the new terms.
