Fin Action Charters is run by Captain Nita Chester, who keeps her 24 foot Action Craft at Sea Hag Marina in Steinhatchee. Scallop trips last about five hours, leave between 8 and 9 am, and cost $475 for one to six people. Licenses, masks, snorkels, bags, water, ice, swim shirts and towels are provided, with some fins aboard. After the Steinhatchee season closes in early September, the scallop trips move to Crystal River or Homosassa through September 24.
