Salty Siren Tours runs manatee tours, eco tours, fishing charters and scallop charters in Crystal River with Captain Ed Menster. The 5 hour Basic Scallop Charter costs $500 aboard a 23 foot Bennington tritoon for up to 6 passengers, and the 7 hour VIP package costs $600 aboard a 24 foot Carolina Skiff and adds a spring swim and complimentary scallop shucking. An 8 hour Premium package is booked by phone. Tours include masks, fins, snorkels, scallop bags, a Florida saltwater fishing license and bottled water, and the Basic and Premium pages list an in-water guide certified in first aid. The season runs July 1 to September 24.
