Captain Jim Lemke runs scalloping charters on a bay boat through the Homosassa or Crystal River system. Trips run 4, 5, 6 or 7 hours for up to 6 passengers, starting at $500 for 4 people on the 4 hour trip. Masks, snorkels, fins, mesh bags, Florida saltwater fishing licenses and iced coolers are provided. The 5, 6 and 7 hour trips add a trip around Monkey Island and a scallop cleaning lesson back on shore.
