Explorida runs private scallop charters from Crystal River on a USCG certified boat that can carry up to 14 passengers. The 5 hour scalloping charter is $1,100 for 1 to 10 people plus $110 for each additional person, and every trip has a USCG master captain and an in-water guide who scallops with the group. Fishing licenses, masks, snorkels, fins, scallop bags, coolers with ice and bottled water are included, and the captain and guide shuck your scallops. They also offer a 7 hour scalloping and spring hop and an 8 hour manatee swim and scallop charter. Pete's Pier marina sells these same trips through its own scalloping page.
